Grades are a hygiene check, not a security guarantee.

Independent directory

Vet it before you plug it in.

PlugVet is an independent directory of AI agent skills and plugins. Every entry is meant to show a public grade, the checks behind it, and the date we looked.

For people who build with coding agents, ship vibe coded apps, or spend the weekend making a game.

Graded, not guessed.

What PlugVet is

A directory

Claude Code skills, Cursor plugins, Codex plugins and MCP servers, in one place. The cards you can open today are example data, so the layout can be judged before real grades go up.

A public grade

Five letters. Each one has its own shape and colour, so the grade does not depend on colour alone. We show what was checked and the date.

A free scanner

A basic check for common problems in a vibe coded app. The checker is not connected yet. You can read what it will look for.

How grading works

We read the source, run the same hygiene checks on every entry, and publish the letter with the evidence. Payment does not change a grade.

  1. Read the source

Permissions, install steps, network calls, and the instructions it gives an agent.

  2. Run the checks

Six checks, every time. The rubric says what pushes a grade from A down to F.

  3. Publish the date

The grade is what we found on that date. A later change can make it stale.

Grades are a hygiene check, not a security guarantee.

The five grades

Magenta is the logo. It is not a grade. Spark yellow is a small accent. It is not a grade either.

A short list, when we have one

The newsletter is called Safe new skills this week. One email when there is something worth a look.

Sponsors and the scanner

Sponsors buy a place, not a grade

Nothing real is graded yet

The directory holds twelve example entries. They are marked Example data on the page. Do not treat those letters as verdicts on real software.
